What we provide

Steel enclosures developed around the engine or genset package, with controlled openings for combustion air, cooling air and exhaust. Fuel, exhaust and electrical interfaces are routed cleanly. Service access is designed for the way the plant will actually be maintained.

Coatings and finishes are specified for outdoor industrial service. Where required, attenuation packages are integrated into the structure rather than added on.

The scope can include the structural base and housing, defined service openings, doors and removable panels, integrated attenuation provisions, coating, inspection records and the agreed handover documents.

Responsibility boundaryIntegration against defined performance criteria

The engine, acoustic and ventilation specialists retain responsibility for their performance criteria, calculations and test method. Garendon integrates the agreed structural, access, airflow and attenuation features; any performance testing by Garendon must be expressly included in the scope.

Inspection evidenceDefined by the quality plan

Dimensional, welding, NDT and coating checks are selected for the project. The records and acceptance points are agreed before production starts.

Common questions

Are your CHP and biogas enclosures acoustically rated?

They can be developed against customer-supplied acoustic and airflow criteria, with attenuation integrated into the structure rather than added on. The required modelling, test method and performance responsibility are agreed in the project scope.

What protects the enclosure in a biogas environment?

Coating systems are selected for the corrosivity of the site, typically to ISO 12944, and detailing focuses on sealing, drainage and ventilation to keep the structure durable.

Do you work to our equipment package?

Yes. The enclosure is built around the chosen CHP unit or genset, its combustion and cooling air, exhaust routes and the access needed to service it.
